Income Guidelines

The USDA is offered to homebuyers within certain income limits. In
April 2009, the income limits were increased significantly to allow
more individuals and families to take part in the program.
The income limits are listed according to the county
where the property is located and the number of members in the

Adjustments to the gross income include the following:
- Daycare expenses for children 12 years and younger
- $480 deduction for each child
- $480 decuction for full-time students who are not
spouses or applicants
- $480 for handicapped persons
- $400 deduction for each elderly household member
- Medical expenses not paid by insurance exceeding 3%
of gross income
